Gigaset Communications is a former arm of Siemens and it has launched its latest smartphone GS5 which is the Gigaset GS5 price in Germany at €299. The German smartphone company is not only popular in several markets but also has a strong presence in some parts of Europe. Gigaset has a wide lineup of rugged, mid-range smartphones.
The GS5 has a sleek curved design with a flash rear camera and a removable 4,500 mAh battery. Removable batteries are uncommon in most smartphones these days. The display also has a waterdrop notch design.
Gigaset GS5 has a 6.3-inch full HD + waterdrop notch display, a 16MP selfie camera and a 48MP main camera. It is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G85 chipset, has 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card.
The back has an 8MP ultraviolet snapper to complete the triple camera setup with an LED flash. The GS5 comes in two colors: dark titanium gray and light purple.
The GS5 will come with Android 11 OS with a definite update to Android 12 at specified times. The Gigaset GS5 also has a fingerprint scanner. The dual SIM tray also has a microSD slot, other openings for NFC and a headphone jack.
